Built some 35 years ago with no expense spared on the unique gardens of some 3 acres (approx). Set in the French countryside peace and quite is assured. The garden and the countryside is beautiful with comfortable accommodation means you will really enjoy your stay.  Ideal family holiday or just for the two of you for some real relaxation.  Newly grassed field of about four acres for your children to play on, with large trampoline and lovely views across the valley.  Adjacent woods and walks to explore the mainly un-touched countryside. 

Floor Plan  The accommodation comprises of Kitchen/Dinner, Separate WC, Bathroom/Shower with Bidet and Washbasin, Kitchen/Diner, Lounge, Master Bedroom, Lounge has pull out single and double bed. Private garden, view to fields and country side to rear with access to parking area via personal garden and own gate. Barbeque patio area and private garden area to relax in.  PC Provided with Broadband Internet access if required.

Located in Central Brittany you are only a short distance from three coast lines the closest only an hour away.  You will find beautiful beaches and places of interest like the Callac stones and the enchanting down of Concarneau and the historic town of Vannes to name only a few, but there are many, many more. Rennes is just over and hour away with fantastic shopping and plenty of culture.

Locally there are many places of interest, with the quaint town of Guemene Sur Scorff, the historic major towns of Pontivy, Josselin and Rostrenen. Just 20 minutes away you will find Lac de Guerdelan the famous Bon Repos Abbey. Once you are at the lake you can enjoy lazing on the beaches, try fishing, go cruising around the 8 mile long lake or try the many water sports available.  You can even enjoy a superb meal at on the many fine restaurants to finish your day off contented in more ways than one.  With our local village of Langoelan only 2km away you can visit the local bars, restaurants for a meal of to meet the locals with plenty of French ambiance.  You can even get a 3 course meal with wine included for only 10 Euros per head!  With the addition of a local Pizzeria you can always get a takeaway if you fancy eating back at the Lakehouse.

 

Your own lake for the duration of your stay!

Great coarse fishing! With specimen Carp, Chubb, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Tench, and Trout. At just under an Acre, stream fed, with depths to 9 feet there are a plenty of opportunities to catch a large bag.  When your arms are aching slow it down and try and catch the larger Roach and Rudd up to 2 1/2lb, or Tench to 3 1/2lb or Chubb to 4 1/2lb.  The lake is 35 years old and is well matured, surrounded by trees, shrubs and a variety of bushes.  Large hedge provides total privacy and there are five Oak Trees at the top end of  the lake. The outflow is through a purpose built sluice which also provides a platform for access to the deeper water.  Boat onsite if you fancy mucking about in a boat, and it's a lovely lake to swim in as the water is crystal clear with sloping edges to allow safe ingress.  With depths from 2 feet to 9 feet, central average 5-6 feet with central stream bed its excellent fishing and always produces the goods.  Looking for massive Carp, then your spoilt, just 15 minuets away is a fantastic fishery with day tickets well stocked with huge Carp.  Subject to availability.
